For many bloggers trying to earn a living from their writing and blogs, this is the Holy Grail. A couple of programmers figured out how to allow people to refer people to your blog and earn money. . . With a huge twist.

These guys are trying to level the playing field. The lopsided playing field of big name internet marketers who gobble up all the profits from people who work hard to send people to their product pages. Now the "little guys" can really take a giant step towards blog profits. How this works is a bit technical, but put simply it goes like this.

Normal Affiliate marketing looks like this:

1. Jack creates a page to promote something (his or someone else's)
2. Jill sends people to Joe's page and earns a percentage.

In order for Jill to earn more she must send more people to that one page.

Now, take the concept a couple steps further:

1. Jack creates an ebook with an affiliate link (or many)
2. Jill sends people to a page on Jack's site where visitors sign up to get
it for free, or just sends them to a cool post

And from then on, when it comes to Jill's referrals:

Jill gets a cut from whatever Jack promotes in his ebook
Jill gets a cut from whatever else Jack promotes now or later on his blog.

First, your blog becomes a place people will want to send people to in droves.

Second, this works both ways.  All you have to do is sign up at the persons blog, and use your special link to refer people. This is something we as bloggers do all the time anyway.

The greatest thing about technology is that it keeps on improving. In fact it improves almost daily. When I stumpled upon this site, it seemed like another quantum shift. The site is still in pre-launch, but already Buzz abounds.

What they offer is a platform, (much like Utube) only more professional and sophisticated. It's geared toward "Experts" in any field who have created digital works whether it be text, audio or video or hybrids and any combinations thereof.

You can upload free samples of your works or "teasers" and then upload as many products as you like & set the prices. You make a sales page and the kicker is… They allow as many members as want to create a custom affiliate link to the product and sell it for you. In this way, it's sort of like a cross between clickbank and Utube. Though it's much easier to use. This presents a tremendous opportunity for many would be authors or artists or teachers who've written a course etc.

Until recently, Google has enjoyed almost monopoly status in the arena of context advertising. They specialized in serving the needs of untold millions of advertisers and publishers. They are by far the biggest whale in the ocean. They have two parts of their add system. Adwords for merchants selling products and Adsense for publishers delivering ad space and clicks. Interestingly, they have both spawned myriad how to manuals and get rich quick schemes because of the sheer volume of users on both sides.

Then along came Yahoo. They've started raising the stakes and adding some worthy competition. Yahoo Context Ads has also become the subject of sales pro's who try to make a quick buck off people who are eager to learn the systems. This is a sure sign of success, when you have attracted "sucker-fish" to your plump underbelly. Others can thrive on what you leave behind. On the other hand it's an indication that the advertising systems they offer are maybe… too complex?

Now the stakes are rising. A few smaller companies have jumped into the big pond trying to compete with the behemoths. Most of them have made only a splash. The key to success is attracting the advertisers who initially inject the money into the system. The money flows from them to the people who deliver the page views.  And of course the behemoth skims it's sizable portion off the top. This is where the smaller fish can make a dent. They offer as bait, more services and larger percentages to clients on both sides of the equation. The question is: "Will they bite?"

One brand new contender, Fair Ads Network, has shown incredible promise. They've come up with a streamlined service with more features and much larger percentages to those driving the business. Here's how they swim faster, maneuver quicker and come off slicker:

You've seen "The Secret" on Oprah. Jerry Adler of Newsweek has written a scathing assesment. Now take a look at the "dark side" of "The Secret" – my assesment.

Really? A Secret?
Not
really a big issue, but this understanding has been around for a while
- like a few thousand years. The Secret is a basic part of the mystical
teachings of Gautama Buddha and Yeshua of Nazareth(Jesus Christ). It's
simple to find if you really study.

More recently, this
teaching has been popularized by Lynn Grabhorn in her "Excuse Me Your
Life Is Waiting" books. Published about 7 years ago. Lynn Grabhorn
attributes most of her insights to a channeled being called Abraham.
This is not meant to demean this information in any way. Wisdom finds
its way into our consciousness in various and mysterious ways. But how
do we use this wisdom properly?

The Dark Side!
Check your
motivation. When the sages taught this type of practice, their
intention was that you understand how the universe works and that you
use this knowledge for spiritual maturation and in other wholesome
ways. If you look at what most of the present day teachers talked about
on Oprah, you will see them emphasising that "You can have what you
want". . . or "You can create the life of your dreams". There was a lot
of talk about wealth and prosperity, getting good jobs, finding a mate
etc.

In contrast to that, Yeshua (Jesus) said: "You must die to
yourself daily to enter the kingdom." So, what's wrong with this
picture? Basically two things: Balance and emotional maturity. Think
about it this way. Would you give your 6 year old child 20 bucks and
send him into a candy store? Too much power and too little maturity can
lead to disaster. Take a look at some of Hollywood's celebrity train
wrecks, or how bout rock & roll stars?

Fortunately, actuating the authentic power of "The Secret" takes much more than most emotionally imature people can muster. (this includes most of us). In order to operate in this mode, it takes focus, steadfast intention, and the ability to generate energetic states at will.

So, this is the main
problem with "The Secret". People are emotionally immature. People have
desires and needs. These desires and needs are almost always driven by
the undeveloped parts of us. In other words, our "needs" arise out of
the wounds we contracted during our early development. Is it really productive to try to
use an advanced spiritual technology and apply it to manifesting these
desires and meeting these needs? Isn't this just another way to satisfy our
addictions? Without the balancing aspects of these spiritual
technologies, we could be in for trouble.

The Balance
How to
balance the teachings of "The Secret". The first step is to look at
your needs and desires. They are windows into your unhealed parts or
wounded child. Before you jump into automatically trying to fulfill
your needs and desires, use the power of focus to observe the "needy
you" behind them. This needy you needs to be re-parented, not to have a
lollipop stuck in its mouth. Sorry if that's a little harsh. But
judging by what I've seen, this is a sorely needed "tap on the butt". This reparenting is your responsability. Taking responsability is the first sign of maturity.

Next,
process the pain inside. By focusing on the origin of your "needs" and
processing the pain, you begin to heal the needy parts of your soul.
This leads to emotional maturity. Continued inner work in this arena
leads to Wholeness. A Whole person acts from a place I call "energetic
responsibility". After becoming more mature and responsible, we will
have a much better clue as to how to manifest that which is really good
for us and for mankind.

Ultimately, travelling down
this path, you will find that Wholeness is a state beyond pain based
need. It's a state where all your neediness has been healed and you
become the Source for your own peace, power and joy. You become
continuously and permanently connected to all things and the Source of
all things. This includes the ability to create or generate inner
states like Love anytime you want. When you can directly generate inner
states, there is no need to go outside yourself for any type of
fulfillment. Only then are you really free or mature enough to manifest
in a truly energetically responsible way.

I’m a Self Actualization Life Coach, so I’ve worked diligently learning how to motivate people to take the next step in their personal growth. Even so, I had struggled for years trying to write my own book or articles. That was until I found some incredible resources that resolved my difficulties.

My Struggle
My story started when I was in high school. I got the bug to write then, at the time I was writing poetry and I had an English teacher who inspired me… believe it or not he told me I should quit school and become a poet. That was 1969. One lost teenager with a heart full of dreams and lofty visions and one “liberal” English teacher. Just trying to find fulfillment, meaning and achieve their own self actualization.

I struggled for my whole adult life trying to find some way to provide for my family and at the same time find a way to express myself and self actualize by realizing my dream to write. I read books, took courses and started many writing projects, completing very few. In my case it wasn’t just not understanding how to mechanically get the writing done, but I had resistances. Serious resistance to success etc… that I needed to address.

Mechanics Solved
The final steps to overcome my obstacles to expressing myself fully and being able to FLOW with my writing came over a year ago when I discovered an incredible program. This program has a very unique system to move you rapidly through the creative process and organizing aspects of a writing task allowing you to focus on the actual "putting words on a page". Once I moved past the "excuse" of not knowing how, I was faced with my resistance alone. There were no more excuses, only me and my avoidance's, procrastination and negative feelings etc.

How Resistance Works
Our minds are tricky beyond what we can even perceive. Sometimes we get a glimpse, most of the time not. Resistance can show up in lots of ways. Then you get home and you see the floor needs sweeping, and oh yea, the dishes need to be washed. Pretty soon, it's time for bed. You've just been duped by resistance, avoidance, distraction whatever you want to name it.

Just looking at the surface of this, you might think "Oh that's just procrastination!" But, what is procrastination? An avoidance mechanism that your mind is producing. As I said, tricky. Resistance can even show up as a negative feeling like worry or anxiety. It can manifest as a physical symptom like a stomach ache or a headache. It goes on and on.

The Answer to Resistance
Thanks to cutting edge human change science, you can uncover these hindrances to success and creativity, get to the roots of them and foster healing. My Story in a nutshell…

For Many years…

(I am now 54) I longed for a situation that would allow me to express my true values and create a living. This longing drove me to continuously seek "the right thing" or "the next great program" that would satisfy my need to self actualize. For at least 6 years I purchased all kinds of products and courses and marketing schemes. I built and dismantled several websites. I joined a host of MLM's and Network marketing programs. I worked at promoting various "pyramid" type businesses. . .

Unfortunately…

These programs did not pan out for me. I just wasn't cut out to be a "salesman". Maybe you are, maybe you can sell things that you know will just lead most people down a "primrose path". I just couldn't generate that kind of energy so consistently. I had to come more from my heart. I needed to feel I was genuinely "helping" people be who they really wanted to be. Not hyping them into promoting something that didn't really provide what they needed. .

The problem is…

People need more comprehensive help. They need guidance from start to finish, not just a bunch of "to do's". They need to figure out how to create a business that will sustain them and fulfill them and generate long term income. You see, money is just not enough. For a few people it is – for a while, but most of us seek more meaning, more heart in our lives. We seek to find fulfillment. I know I did and I suspect you are not so different from me.

For 35 years…

I've also studied "Human Change Technology". From deep spirituality and mysticism to modern scientific methods. I have worked as a spiritual counselor and a life coach. After seeing what was "out there on the web", I despaired because no one was providing the "whole ball of wax". All the programs were heavy on money, money and more money. Totally out of balance. Several years ago, I made a major commitment to radically change my life.  I was tired of feeling tired, falling into confusion, lacking enough focus to achieve my dreams, losing hope, failing.
